My new charge 6 has no device icon

My Charge 6 has no Device Icon in the upper left corner so I can't make any changes to the device, such as changing the clock face.  All the tutorials I have found start with tapping the Device Icon in the upper left corner.  How do i get a device icon or get around not having one?

The old app had the device icon, the new app has the battery percentage.  Tap on that and it will bring you to your device.  Tap on your device and you'll find the settings page.
