My one-month old Charge 6 died

ANSWERED

I've read a bunch of the posts on the forum about troubles with the Charge 6 and tried the solutions offered, but nothing is working.   My month-old Charge 6 was fully charged up over Tuesday night. On Wednesday it was working fine.  Mid-day on Thursday, I noticed that it wasn't waking up.  The face simply remained black...no response to tapping, or to pushing the button.  I thought maybe I was wrong about charging it.  So I tried charging it again Thursday night.  This morning...still nothing.  I"ve tried the 3 pushes on the charger button. Nothing.  There's no vibration or lights on. NShould I to reponse when it's plugged into the charger.  I've cleaned the contacts.  It was purchased through Amazon.  Should I just try sending back?    I'm so bummed out!

There is! Look on the Fitbit site for “contact us” and do either a live
chat or a phone number. Once I got through to them, they checked that it
wasn’t working and are now sending me a replacement !

Same thing has happened to me. I get nothing! Wished there was a better way to reach and talk to live customer service.

I don't see the "contact us" on the Fitbit site ---- either on the app on my phone or on the website - any suggestions?

Hello @sallioux

You can use this link to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get to the page with the contact options.

To get to Support from the Fitbit app:

  • Tap on your picture/avatar (Android) / gear icon (iOS) in the upper right of the Today app
  • Select Help
  • Tap on Help center to open the Fitbit Help Center page
  • Swipe up to get to the bottom of the page and tap on Contact us
  • Complete the prompts until you get to the page with the contact options

It continues to happen- I found a clip on YouTube to get it going again - connect it to charger, plug in to wall…then there is a little button in the usb end of the charging cord…press for 1-2 seconds , 3three times. It should shudder and then start up again. This continues to happen - it has nothing to do with needing a charge, often there is 50% or more, but it just stops. Fortunately I have been able to get it going again using this method. It also is erratic tracking sleep. Sometimes tracking only two hours out of six or eight. Weird. Good luck with yours!

Thanks. Yes i will try this.

This is the second one (charge 6) that has done this. I wonder if there is
a fault ?

Does anyone else swim with theirs or wear in the shower ?
