New Charge 6 display is dark and no vibration after setup

After the process of setting up the new fitbit and moving my account to Google, fitbit was ready to connect Charge 6 but fitbit no longer saw Charge 6. And Charge 6 had no display and no vibration. I have tried the charging cord button and the 30 sec hold for reset. Neither worked. What else should I try?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Sharon_M. I'll be happy to assist with your Charge 6 set up inquiry. Thanks for letting us know that you tried restarting your tracker in order to turn it on.

Please set up your Charge 6 in order to make it work:

  1. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap the devices icon.
  2. Tap Add more devices.
  3. Choose Charge 6 and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

I connected Charge 6 to laptop via charger cable and Charge 6 woke up and I was able to finish the setup. The setup app was not aware the Charge 6 was paired so I had to verify through phone Bluetooth function app.

Your suggestion did not work. The Fitbit app could not find the Charge 6.

The Charge 6 was unresponsive.
