New Fitbit Charge 6 has fingerprint marks

I bought a new Fitbit charge 6 online, directly from Fitbit's flagship store in Lazada and it arrived today. I'm usually the type of person to wash hands before handling a new device. 

When I peeled the screen, there were already fingerprint marks, and it clearly wasn't mine cuz I had not touched the screen yet.

I'd like to know if there is a chance that Fitbit distributes refurbished ones as new devices upon purchase?

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with our product.

To clarify, the Google Store is currently the only official store for new Fitbit products, excluding authorized resellers. In the Google store you'll find a specific section which lists the refurbished devices available. You can check this place here.

In your specific case, I recommend contacting the website where you get your Charge 6 to get an answer.
