New charge6 registers steps when Im not moving

New user, Charge 6. Registers many steps when Im not moving. Im ambidextrous,  don't have a non dominant arm. Don't see how this will help if this unreliable. Steps counting was my main goal. Though it will be fun to see I've walked 10,000 steps, even if I've just sat on couch all day. Any ideas?

@Hlthlvr since you don't have a nondominant hand, you may need to change that setting in the Fitbit app. That should cause the Fitbit to ignore some of those extra hand movements.

To do this, open the Fitbit app and tap the device icon on the upper left of the screen. Select your device near the top of the next screen. Swipe up until you see "wrist placement". Tap that and select "Dominant".
