Hello All...I'm new to this sub and new to Fitbit,
I got a good deal on a used but basically like new Charge 6, it just got delivered and came with the battery dead, I got it from goodwill in Kentucky (I'm in Massachusetts) I paid $60 for it with shipping so it seemed like a good investment. I'm charging it now so hopefully it works as intended.
I currently wear an Apple Watch Series 6 but I've never used it to track fitness, sleep or anything of the like. I guess the reason I got a Fitbit was I was curious if it would help motivate me to move more.i like that it's more minimalist compared to the Apple Watch. I'm currently doing Weight Watchers, I'm down 26 lbs since new years and I'd like to incorporate some walking and light exercise into my everyday life as the weather gets warmer.
I'm also interested in sleep tracking, so I guess my question is what are some tips and tricks I should know about Fitbit? Do you wear your Fitbit all day and night? Even in the shower lol? Do you find it to be a motivating tool to help you to move more? Do any of you use apple watch also? Is it dumb to wear both? And any other insight you have for me being new to Fitbit....hoping to hear some good feedback on this device and Fitbit in general.
