No USB-C? Disappointing.

Nothing much more to say. All my devices are USB-C. Except this. Pretty surprised.

Good point. They should consider having a usb type c charging cable.

Yep it's only by pure luck I managed to find my old USB A charger in a drawer otherwise no way to charge.

And the cable is way too short. Won't even reach the table so has to sit on the floor.

I hear you. You might want to purchase an extension cable from USB Type C to USB A then.

And in the Pixel Watch 2 board, there is a discussion about the USB-C and some users have no way to charge.

Sorry Rich, just to clarify the Pixel Watch 2 is USB C and people are saying they'd prefer USB A?

Apparently not everyone have USB-C chargers. The Pixel 2 also has direct charging, which also has complaints

Fair enough. Personally I couldn't wait to ditch the antiquated technology of USB A and the notorious requirement of three plug in attempts.
