Old and new fitbit do not track sleep

My charge 5 stopped tracking sleep suddenly. I did all the things the forums said. None worked. Un-installed the app, factory reset the fitbit. Nothing. Got the new charge 6 thinking the old was faulty,  same issue. Created new profile on the app and started from scratch. Still nothing works. Getting pretty frustrated and I see MANY people are having this problem. Time to change brands?

I never had a problem with charge 5.  Charge 6 however starts tracking my sleep time after midnight when I go to bed around 1030pm.  I try to edit but it won’t let me go back to pm instead of am.
