I was so happy when on by Charger 5 return was moved to the top of the top of the screen so that I didn't hit finish by accident. This allowed me to bike to the shops pause while shopping and the unpause and cycle home.
What I don't understand is why a 2nd stop/restart select has been added, which kicks in after a few minutes of pause. Which reverts to the old to the old default which makes ending the excesses easier to accidentally select and if you manage t select continue then shows the 1st pause screen. It is incredibly dumb adding extra input requirements for no gain, what benefit do I as a user get from this?
Is there some kind of power struggle going on amongst the development team where one group wants easier cancel?
The reason the easiest to select should be the continue option is because it is the least destructive. If you accidentally select to go back to tacking the exercise. When you meant to cancel simple pause and cancel at most you have added 1 second to the exercise time. If you accidentally exit tracking then you cannot undo that and have to go through the process of starting again which means waiting for a GPS sync at the least?

Why, I assume because of previous models, the pause would time out, and, without warning, would stop the exercise. At least now we get a warning

The previous models did not timeout. The complaint was also about which has priority cancel or resume. It has reverted to cancel but hey why bother to read what was actually written.

I wonder if that's the auto-pause feature kicking in. I turned all that automatic stuff off.
