Placing charge 6 on charger discharges battery

My charge 6 indicated my battery was low at %20.  I placed it on the charger and about an hour later I checked it and it had discharged down to 6%.  I disconnected from the charger and reconnected.  It displays the logo for a moment and then nothing.  Why does it do this?  How can I get it to charge?

Tried all of that, but it's still not charging. It's been on the charger
for 4+ hours now. If I tap the screen nothing happens. Disconnect and
reconnect to the charger and then it shows charging 4%, Wait 30 minutes
and the cycle repeats.

@Arctic7   It sounds like your Fitbit has a battery charging fault.  Please contact Support for more help.
