REM and deep sleep no longer tracking in the Fitbit 6

My sleep is no longer tracking in the Fitbit six. I have to manually add the hours I sleep and even then it has stopped registering REM sleep and Deep Sleep stages. The graphic artists who developed the new visual graphs, should go back to art school as they have created visually unclear data that communicates badly to replace the old clear graphic images.

Do the technicians ever read the community bulletin board because it seems like no corrections are being made.

My family will be moving away from fitbit and Google watches now that Google have completely ruined the fitbit with all changes over last 12+ months.

Now that my sleep data has also had REM LIGHT DEEP removed, we're finished.

I also have just spent 5 days trying to reconnect my fitbit to phone and start syncing and notifications again.

Thank you to all the support people on here 🤩

Hello @GabbyBee

I understand your frustration. Before you leave Fitbit and dump your devices, would you please share with me what happened with your recent sleep data? It looks like you got a basic sleep graph instead of the one with the sleep stages. I've have this happen to me every now and then.

Maybe we can at least get your sleep data to show the sleep stages graphs again.

Hi RiekoCThank you for responding to my post.It is sooo frustrating that these changes over the past Year+ have ruined an app that I totally loved. But this last episode has wasted many hours and days. I'm also not getting Sleep Score or Heart Rate since 16 Sept episode when it completely disconnected. It took 5 days of troubleshooting to get it working again. Now my daughter's fitbit has also disconnected. She is an adult with many rare medical conditions and lives 300 kilometres away from meWe have to have a reliable smartwatch for tracking and notifications.Challenges were extremely helpful and Steps ... *now connected to Stridekick are a solution (but not as good ir reliable as Challenges)I've attached some screenshots.I have also tried changing from sensitive to normal  but no differences. It had to be re setup as Versa. I have a Versa2 but tried for days abd wouldn't connect.I followed another community members advice and Versa worked. We are currently researching a new smartwatch to replace fitbit as it no longer suits its main purpose. If you could at least get back sleep data with stages Plus ❤️ rate that would be wonderful.BTW. Syncing is also no longer automatically updating at regular intervals during the day. This seemed to have changed  around a month ago.Thank youGabby 🙏

Hello @GabbyBee

I'm concerned that you're saying you don't see heart rate tracking. The heart rate sensor is needed for proper sleep tracking, which would explain why you're having problems with that feature.

Do you see a green light on the back of your device? That's the heart rate sensor. If you don't see the green light, then you might have a defective device or the heart rate tracking was turned off on your device's Settings.

BTW, you posted in the Charge 6 forum but mention you have a Versa 2. Here's my recommendation. Take the text from your reply to me and post it in the Versa product help forum (<-- click link). This is the best forum to post your problems with your Fitbit since there will be other Versa 2 users who can provide advice.
