I just set up my Charge 6 after upgrading from an Amazfit Band 5 after four years. I was really disappointed to discover when you receive a notification, especially a text message notification the device vibrates but the screen does not turn on for a few seconds so I can look and preview it. You have to awkwardly flick your wrist or tap on the display to see what was received.
This is inconvenient as usually if you receive a notification, you naturally want to see it immediately so you know if a response is needed at that moment. I was the first among my running group to try the a fitbit out, but I may end up sending it back and suggesting everyone may try something else. It seems like this function is frequently requested and has been for years now. I dont think anyone was truly listened too.

This should be a user setable option. Personally I do not want the display to light up. I may not be interested in reading the notification now. I know that when I do raise my arm to read the notification, the screen does turn on, and the notification is easily read.
