Settings app is not on my Charge 6

ANSWERED

Problem: I cannot access the Settings app on my Charge 6. The option does not appear on my Charge 6. Even though it shows as installed on my Fitbit app on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.                                                  What I have Done:  a)Confirmed on the FitBit app on my phone that Settings is installed. However, I did notice that the gear symbol for Settings on the phone FitBit app is lighter than the symbols for other apps. B) I have uninstalled and reinstalled the phone FitBit app. c)I have reset the  Charge 6 using the cable button. D)I cannot seem to erase the Charge 6 without the Settings app on the Charge 6.                                          Question: How can I get the Settings app on my Charge 6?

Welcome to the forums, @TPrudence.

Thanks for the details and the steps that you've tried prior to posting. While this is odd, let's try reconnecting your tracker to the Fitbit app so it can start from scratch with all the default features installed. To do so, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Forget your Charge 6 from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap Devices at the upper left corner.
  4. Select the option to add a new device and choose your Charge 6.
  5. Tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once this is done, try looking for the Settings app on your tracker.
