Short afternoon sleep monitored but no data from the night

Hi, I bought Charge 6 for my elderly father primarily to help with monitoring his sleep, I am not a user myself. While his afternoon sleep gets recorded, with one exception (after one month of usage) there seem to be no data for his main night sleep. Any ideas how to fix this?

By any chance, does your father manually start his sleep on his Charge 6? If so, this would be the reason why he's not getting any sleep data at night. He needs to let the Charge 6 automatically detect his sleep at night and when he wakes up.

This help page has detailed information on how to track sleep with the Fitbit device (<-- click link) as well as recommended troubleshooting steps. My apologies if you've already reviewed this information.
