Sleep track & heart rate not working

Hi! I just received my Fitbit 6 and my heart rate isn’t showing or my bpm and my sleep stats aren’t working. This is my first day with it and I’m disappointed that these aren’t working

It sounds like your heart rate sensor isn't on. Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? That's the heart rate sensor. You can check it by placing your finger across the back of the device. When you lift your finger, you should see the green light.

If you don't see the green light, the first place to check is the Settings menu on the Charge 6 and confirm Heart Rate is on.

• Swipe down from the clock face until you get to the Settings tile, the last one, and tap on it
• Swipe up until you see Heart Rate and confirm it's turned on

Hi! Yes my heart rate monitor was on. I realized the problem. I have a sleeve tattoo and it wasn’t reading anything. As soon as I changed the Fitbit to my right arm without any tattoos, it started reading my heart rate immediately.

Thank you for your update and letting us know you figured out that your sleeve tattoo was the culprit. Glad that you were able to get your Charge 6 to work when you switched it to your right arm. 👍
