Steps Continue to Go Missing

Have been experiencing steps being lost.  Screen shots show steps before I go to bed and then again im the morning. Losing almost half daily.  What is the issue with Fitbit?  This is impacting thousands of users.

I haven’t seen any official fix yet. There are hundreds of posts reporting
the same issue, and unfortunately, no resolution so far. It seems Fitbit’s
technical team is aware and working on a solution, but no timeline has been
shared. In the meantime, step tracking is unreliable, which is
disappointing. I can’t help but wonder how many loyal customers might
switch to other platforms if this persistent issue isn’t addressed soon.

Just checked my steps and everything has been returned to normal from the prior days/months.   Thank God!!   WooHoo!!

Yes. Steps have reappeared and we are back in business. Hopefully they
learn from the change and dont implement that again without doing some
preliminary testing. Not worth aggravating thousands of fitbit users who
track and rely on the data daily.
