Swimming when not

My charge 6 keeps marking me as swimming when I'm just at home doing house chores. How can I fix that? But then for sleep it only marks 3-4 hours of sleep when I sleep 7-8 hours but I get up 1-2 to use the bathroom. Ugh! Something has to be wrong with the sensors, right? Also it's not giving me the skin temperature while sleeping.

@Pinkbeans let me guess, it thinks you swim when you do ironing? This is what it does for me. If you don't swim, you can turn off swim detection in the Fitbit app setting. This will solve the problem. If you swim and use autodetected swim then just delete fake swims 🤷 (this is what I do).

@Triletics , Thank you for your help and sharing your experience and  solutions.

@Pinkbeans , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

As our friend Triletics mentioned, this seems to be a case where SmartTrack (autodetection) might misinterpret your movement pattern.
If you choose to turn SmartTrack off, you'll find the instructions here

If you use SmartTrack and swim a lot, I suggest you start a swimming activity manually, do your rounds and end it also manually! This will help the tracker identify your movement patterns.
Just keep in mind, that this may also recognize other movements as swimming.
