Hi,
I just upgraded to a Charge 6 after using an Inspire 2 for several years.
I really like the design etc, but since I started using it a few days ago, I feel like it's constantly giving me reminders I don't want or need.
For example, when I go for a walk it keeps "recognizing a walk" or a "run" and then the display is doing some weird type of countdown, or doing a pace etc. and I can't seem to get out of it. I just want to see my step count or the time as I'm walking. I kept tapping and swiping and I couldnt get out of it, just a play and pause button all about the walk or run.
Today it asked me if I want to keep automatically recognizing runs and then walks and I said "no" but it still seemed weird I couldn't get out of that loop. I tapped the screen swiped, hit the side button, but nothing worked.
I really dno[t mind if it recognizes my exercise I just don't want it to prevent me from seeing my regular clockface with steps.
It also keeps telling me when I "enter zone minutes" which I think my Inspire did, but I'm not sure how to dismiss these things. On the inspire I would hold both sides of the face but I don't think that works with the Charge 6.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hi, @GaryMF , the Charge 6 has a feature that will automatically detect a walk or a run and launch the exercise app (This is different from the SmartTrack feature which does not launch the exercise app and therefore does not move you away from your usual clock screen.)
You can turn this auto detect feature on the watch itself. On your Charge 6 swipe left until you come to the exercise app then swipe up until you come to “Walk”. Tap to open “Walk” and then swipe up until you come to “Walk detect”. Tap to toggle Walk detect to OFF.
Repeat the process for “Run” and you should not be bothered with this issue again.
If you are happy to have your walks or runs detected in the same way it did with your Inspire 2 then you don’t need to change anything in the app.
As with your Inspire 2 you can always return to the clock face on your Charge 6 by squeezing both sides of the Fitbit.
I hope this helps. Please do post again with any further questions or anything is unclear.

@GaryMF Different models have different paths to turn off zone minute notifications. The Charge 6 can give you notifications during everyday activity and while using the Exercise app. Here is a link to Fitbit's Help article with the Charge 6 expanded for you. You must turn them off in each exercise shortcut that you use.
