Does anyone know how to track a charge 6 fitbit if it's misplaced?

Or any other free bluetooth locator phone app, but must be done before fitbit battery dies. Bluetooth range is usually about 30 feet.

Fitbit recommending to go download and use some random bluetooth finder app is the most ridiculous thing to me. Why can't they just include the find my fitbit feature in the app? The application they refer me to is one of the worst apps I have ever seen or used. Absolutely crazy they don't have their own locator!

Dear Cosmis Hurdler - Can you explain how the free bluetooh locator helped you find your fitbit? I think it's garbage. Thanks.

I didn't say it had helped me. A bluetooth locator app will help you only if you are within bluetooth range of your fitbit, and the fitbit battery has not yet died. I am not defending Fitbit, just quoting from their Help section, and explaining the option(s) if you know the approximate location and the battery is still good.
Actually a bluetooth locator app did help me once when my fitbit was within my house, which is a common occurrence.
As far as 'find my fitbit' within the app, I suppose you would have to have some kind of tracking device imbedded within the fitbit, adding size and expense. And then you can't just make it ring loudly like a phone; just vibrating, I don't know if it would be any more useful than a locator app. But I'm just thinking off the top of my head. You could make that suggestion in the Product Feedback forum.
