Update appears to have broken features of Charge 6, plus a big bogus backward step on Sleep data

Watch: Fitbit Charge 6
Fitbit App: 4.24 (110109423)
Phone: Samsung Galaxy A51
OS: Android v. 13

Woke up this a.m. and, shortly after, went to check my Sleep data and saw that the data provided had changed.  That's bogus, but I mention it because it's not only bogus to strip features away then expect us to pay for what had originally come with the device, but evidently, there was an app update in order for that to have happened.  Then I noticed that, while it appears to have tracked Sleep OK overnight, it is no longer grabbing or updating.  Sync is not working.  I have restarted both devices several times without success.  I have also powered down my phone and restarted it, but obviously there's no way to do that with the Charge 6.  {Consider this a vote for that feature.  Kind of absurd that it doesn't have that option.}

So, basically, my Charge 6 is now an expensive digital watch.  I don't need one of those.

RESOLUTION?
I purchased the watch in January, so I assume it's still under warranty.  The questions are:
1) Whether there's a bug in the update {See, e.g., the 13,400 pages returned for a search on 'Fitbit app update broke my Charge 6 and the app' }, and
     a) if so, is there a fix in the works?
Or 2) should I just give up and seek to have it remedied by returning the unit while it's still under warranty?

Any help, much appreciated.

P.S.
FYI: Those 13,400 pages mentioned were the number just for the past month.

My Fitbit Charge 6 stoped tracking my daily kms and m Active Zone Minutes after the last update. They still display in the mobile app dashboard but not on my watch anymore..

Cant finx a fix anywhere and I tried re-syncing my fitbit to my phone by connecting it to its charge and clicking the charger button 3 times..

Any help apreciated.
