Hi Fitbit,
I recently purchased a Fitbit Charge 6 on February 28, 2025, specifically for its ECG feature, which has been widely reviewed and praised. However, I was disappointed to find that ECG is not available in Thailand.
Since Apple provides ECG support in Thailand, I would like to ask:
ECG is an essential health feature that many users rely on, and I (along with many others in Thailand) would greatly appreciate an official response from Fitbit regarding this issue.
Looking forward to your clarification and updates.
Best regards,

The availability of the ECG function is governed by the health authority in individual countries.
Google has no control over the the approval process, nor can they circumvent the geographical restrictions in place. .

@OneBangkok_TH like @gdio53 mentions, each medical device has to be certified by their government before the device can be enabled. You say Thailand has certified Apple, now we have to wait for Thailand to certify Fitbit. There might be some Thailand agency you could send an e-mail to.
