Why have bike as exercise option

Why does Fitbit charge 6 have bike as an exercise option when it doesn’t work?  Went on 30 min ride and it tracked 0.0 miles.  Also looked on phone and the only options are walk, run and hike.  Where is bike option ?  Fitbit support, only reply with answer that works.

@HuskerDad007   Does your Charge 6 show that your GPS connected before you start your ride?  No distance sounds like your GPS isn't connecting.  This Help article might have an answer for you: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?  If you don't get the help you need from the Help article, please contact Support for more help.  The Community is a user to user help site.

Tracking with the Fitbit app on your phone is a very old feature called MobileRun.  I used it with my Fitbit One and Charge HR, two models that can't track other exercises.  It's from a time when Fitbits were fancy pedometers, not fitness trackers.
