Charge 6 - Workout options don't match

Hello! The workout options do not match on the watch and on the phone app. There are 37 options on the watch but more on the app. For example, the phone app has "horseback riding" but the watch options do not. I cannot always start a workout on my phone when busy outside. Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you!

Hi @Febniamh, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the available exercises in your Charge 6.

For your Charge 6, all exercises are available in the Exercise app . They can’t be reordered though.

In addition, your Charge 6 shows your most recently used exercises in the Exercise tile and/or at the top of the Exercise app .

If you don't find the activity you want on your Charge 6, maybe reordering them may help:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices your device.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts and make your changes:
  3. Sync your device.

Thank you very much for your reply! I know the charge 6 shows the most recently used activities but even if I log an activity on the app, it doesn't change the tiles on the watch if that makes sense. Unfortunately I am not seeing an option for what you are describing. On the today tab I click on the charge 6 and then these are my options, and none of the buttons here allow me to reorder the tiles. It's the fact that the same workouts are not available on the watch that are on the app on the phone, so I can log it on the app on my phone but I can't ever get it to show on the watch to be able to log an activity quickly even if I log it on the phone.

Hello @Febniamh

There are more workouts listed in the app. These are "custom" workouts to help users track the activity that they did.

The way to use the custom workouts is to do your workout using one of the available options on your device. When you've completed your activity, you can edit the name of the completed activity in the Fitbit app.

I use this method to track my Tai Chi workouts. I select Martial Arts on my device, do my workout, then edit the name to Tai Chi in the app.

Thank you for your reply!

I was hoping there was a way to just make an app workout available on the watch (I.e. horseriding) so I would not have to manually edit as I always will forget to. Simply because this option is already on the app so I wouldn't have to type. But alas. Thank you anyway!
