Just an opinion, but i am not happy that I just spent £119 here in the UK on a brand new Charge 6 and it tells me I can't use Youtube music unless i am a Youtube premium member. If I then added on top the Fitbit Premium, that would be then something like £23 a month. Sorry I am very disappointed. What is then the actual benefit compared to the Charge 5?

Hello, @Boogieberlin Welcome back to the community.
Thanks for explaining your feedback in regards to using Youtube on your Charge 6.
At this time, this can only be used with a premium subscription in most locations, you can find more information about this here, I appreciate your understanding.

Seeing this is a limitation set by YouTube, not Fitbit. You will need to take this up with YouTube

@Rich_Laue Fitbit + Youtube are both owned by Google. its purely sales technique so that everyone buys a premium subscription for youtube

That is correct, your point is? It doesn't change the fact that the YouTube division requires premium for this feature
PS : if you want to save a video on the phone, through the YouTube app, premium is needed

I dont need to buy Spotify premium to operate Spotify with my iwatch on my iphone - thats my point - but i just paid £119 for a new charge 6 which sells the fact i can operate youtube music with it - which isnt true unless i pay another fee every month. My point is that it is misleading.

I can't use Fitbit's Charge 6 YouTube Music controls either. I have a YouTube Premium subscription. What's up with this?
And yes, since you guys just push this off on your users as though we have no clue what we're doing, here is the rest of the story. I’ve done all the things front-line helpdesk people say to do. I’ve reset my Charge 6 multiple times, restarted my device, and even “Removed” and reconnected my Charge 6 device. Nothing works.
My home network has 450 mb’s of connectivity. My iPhone’s Bluetooth is “On” with “Share System Notifications” turned on for my Charge 6. I run YouTube Music iOS app version 6.31.2 with a YouTube Music Premium subscription. I keep my iPhone up to date. It is running iOS 17.2.1, the latest iOS available. My Fitbit Charge 6 Version is 66.20001.202.94.

Im a premium user so this doesn't bother me. The part where those with premium subscriptions still can't control youtube music bothers me.

Any solution? I'm having the same issue. I have the premium subscription and all notifications enabled but all I get form the fitbit is the option to 'open you tube music on your phone' but it doesn't and nothing happens, even with YTM actively running.

I agree 100%! I had a Fitbit Charge 5 and upgraded to the Charge 6 for nothing since I can't use the YouTube Music feature. I also am a Fitbit Premium user
