Zone minutes crazy 😧

Yesterday was my day off, I did only laundry and some house cleaning but my Fitbit charge went crazy telling me I earned 91 zone minutes! 😲

 today I did a 45 minute boot camp workout and only earned one?! 

What the heck is going on?

As you know, Active Zone Minutes are based on time spent in the various Heart Rate Zones.

Apparently while you were doing your activities yesterday, your heart rate was high enough to register AZM. However, it doesn't make sense that you only earned 1 AZM during your boot camp workout.

Did you have a chance to look at your detailed AZM data in the Fitbit app? Tap on the Zone Minutes tile to see it. You see a graph showing when you earning AZM as well as breakdown by time, activity level, & zone minutes earned.

Like you, there are days when I earn a lot of AZM and other days when I struggle to earn 25 AZM for the entire day, even though I was active doing house chores. It all depends on if my heart rate got elevated during my activities.
