I have upgraded to Charge 6 but it does not record flights of stairs. Why not? And if this is part of its design why isn't that put in the description of the product where it can be easily ascertained; I would not have purchased had I known that this was so

Hi @Lorrel The Charge 6 doesn't feature an altimeter, so unfortunately will not be able to track floors. You can check the user manual, but the altimeter isn't mentioned. On the sales information page, it generally lists what features and what is tracked.

I expected floors too. I assumed the GPS would provide that functionality.

Thanks for the answer. Its very disappointing, considering I was upgrading from Charge 3 to Charge 6 I naturally assumed it would have similar functionality and that an integral part of the recording on Fitbit app, i.e. the floor count, would be included. Seems odd to upgrade a smart watch by getting rid of the floor count

Other fb I had used to track uphills. Why does by my charge 6?

I had not paid attention to recently but I too wonder why it is part of the interface but we don't get the data. I reluctantly upgraded to a Charge 6 after my year old 5 died.
