I'm wanting to go back to a regular analogue mechanical watch as i no longer want a full on smartwatch. however i have become reliant on the vibrations to wake me up in the morning and not wake up my wife. i know someone who also has a fitbit and a regular watch, wearing the fitbit on the right arm for tracking and notifications, so i'm looking at doing simiar.
i do also have other leather bracelets i wear on my right wrist, so something slim would still fit and not look too out of place.
which ones do people use that are strong enough to wake you up?

As you would like a small and slim tracker I would recommend the Inspire 3. It is one of the smallest Fitbits but still has many of the most popular features, and, like several of the newer Fitbits has the option to toggle vibration strength from “normal” to “strong”. I find the ‘strong” setting is enough to wake me up, but of course it does depend on how lightly you sleep.
It’s worth noting that Fitbit has a 45 day return window if you buy directly from them (individual retail stores may vary) so you could try it out and see. Note however that you will be responsible for postage, handling and taxes if you return during that window unless the return is due to an actual fault with the device. You can have a look at the sales policy info here .
Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

It’s worth noting that Fitbit has a 45 day return window if you buy directly from them". I have a theory on why this 45 day no questions asked return may not be good overall. The 45 return no questions asked may be a ploy. People return a defective product wanting their money back. Its easy not to argue and just say not full happy than go through the process of rejecting. Fitbit can then re issue the defective returned product when someone else makes a claim under the guarantee. If its having problems with in 45 days it can be reissued under someone's else's guarantee. So they in effect get a defective replacement for their faulty watch . If the 45 day no problem return was not there fitbit would need to mark the returned watch defective then could not be issued for someone's else's guarantee (they could but would be harder to pretend that no sending a defective replacement)
No wonder they sell such over priced garbage in UK shops. If someone was selling something worth the money they would not offer a 45 no question returns its seems a questionable business practice. The worst thing is we pay the same money in the UK for rubbish with out the return option.
The high price as built for markets where offer returns trails and bought to reduce insurance, they build them dirt cheap. Huawei and apple charge a fair price based on the quality of product. When I bought my charge 6 32 days ago for 140 GBP ( 177.41 USD) I assumed it was because was of acceptable quality. The strap often falls of the sleep data often does not show in the watch very overpriced for such a poor quality product. I suppose they are priced to be given away in other markets. I realised when got home and opened and then googled the used priced. An apple that has been out for less than a year would be worth well over half its new price used. Fitbits drop like a rock in price, because the price is not the real device price its based on an option to have fit bit use for 2 years so the device which may last 6 months is worth little an apple would likely last years. The used price with an applied is the instristic value of the product. Although the 45 day satisfaction guarantee sounds good in theory, its not , it is because they know the are selling over priced garbage and some markets would not support that. People will be returning the product with in the 45 days because its defective and fitbit can say because not fully happy and re issue a defective product on another person defective return. This is a benefit in many ways for the company and may be helps support a collective delusion of management that sales have not been sliding for years because they have been shipping garbage. People sent garbage back the company says has a generous offer. How many people send an Apple back do they offer this same 45 day pretend satisfaction guarantee ? I doubt it . Having said that although my fitbit fell of again this morning it does so sleep very well. I just need to get good strap and glue it on
