I have been trying different combinations of foods to try to stay satisfied on a reduced calories diet. I have noticed that adding fat to my meals really helps the satiety as well as curb snacking. What are some of your discoveries?
Here was my lunch today...450 calories, I could barely finish it...
2 cups mixed greens
1 cup beet slaw
2 tbsp full fat Italian dressing (Olive garden)
1 chicken breast
1 cup brocoli
27 cherries

There are many things you can eat that are low cal and satisfying. Sometimes i make tuna salad with a can of tuna, chopped onion,no-fat mayo ,chopped celery, spices and put it on a margerine-buttered garlic pita bread . I heat it up a little and it's great. You even have some salad left over.
Only 440 or so calories if you eat all the tuna salad.
I eat this with steamed carrots .
Total only 520 calories and very filling.
Lots of protein,some carbs,vegetables.
