What do you do when you eat something and can't find any nutritional facts or even something close to it?

 @LadeKatt: Welcome to the community! I have the same issue when I log in my calories. Home made is totally different from store bought. So when I try to log in my Indian food , I take each and every ingredient and search the google to get the nutritional facts and the calories. It's not easy but I try to get at least approximate estimation.

I recently purchased some church-made patychky (ukranian meat on a stick) and found this site: http://recipeofhealth.com/ - combination recipe and calorie counter.  I liked the fact that I could look at the recipes, decide if it were close, and then use the per 100g option to get something close.
