I would like to share this recipe with everyone. I created it myself and it is a delicious soup at 80 calories per cup:
3 cups of carrots chopped chunky
2 cups of celery chopped chunky
2 cups of onion chopped chunky
1 cup chicken breast diced
2 large (28 OZ.) canned tomatoes
3 boxes (12 cups) chicken broth
3 lasagna noodles broken into pieces
1-2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Garlic Plus
1/2 tsp. dill
1/4 tsp. thyme.
Throw everything in a soup pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for a couple of hours until veggies are tender and noodles cooked.
You can reduce amounts to make less soup.
You can adjust spices to your own taste.
This is a great tasting soup for only 80 cal/cup.
ENJOY!!
PS I recently made this soup adding 1/3 cup barley and 1 can wild rice instead of noodles.
Turned out very good for 85 calories for 1 cup. (Based on 16 cups of soup)

sounds yummy. I am not a pasta person so I would add more veggies but this is a really good idea.
