Able to manually log mindfulness sessions in Mindfulness tile

To be able to manually log mindfullness sessions, just like you can manually log a walk, or other exercises. I like the ‘time’ and ‘reflection’ aspects of it and how it appears in the ‘my journey’ section. If I was able to manually log it, I could listen to other apps, or no apps at all, but still log it in the mindfullness section.

Yo is this in the works? Please add feature to manually log mindfulness.

On another related note I fell asleep to a meditation so it logged an 8 hour meditation and I can’t edit it.

It would be great if I can modify the duration of mediation (to have something similar to adjust sleep log).  Duration of meditation that automatically logged is not always accurate.  I usually mediate as I fall asleep.  When the app is working properly, it logs the actual duration of the meditation (e.g. 15 minutes). When not accurate, the app thinks I meditated all night.

Yes, don't you love it when you have time to meditate for 8 hours plus? It is so stupid that Fitbit can't fix this, plus the numerous other things they can't fix (versa 3 not compatible with FitOn even though FitOn says it is compatible; not having cross country skiing or downhill skiing or kettlebell or numerous other activities as part of their exercise selection menu; not being able to manually enter mindfulness sessions, etc etc etc).

These forums make it appear like Fitbit is making changes and improvements, yet they are not. I am about a week away from switching to Apple, to be honest. Their functionality appears to be heads and shoulders above Fitbit - for example, they subtract the calories you would normally burn from just existing, from the calories burned during a workout, so that you see the true caloric difference. And they have way more exercise options. "Workout" just doesn't cut it, Fitbit.

Yes please! I purchased my first FitBit recently (the Charge5) and I am enjoying many of the features but was surprised under the Mindfulness section it didn’t have an option to log an already established meditation practice. This addition would be great. To take it a step further, I’d suggest this feature be set up on the watch face as well, similar to the shortcut exercises. If I could just sit, scroll to “Mindfulness,” set a timer, meditate, have it vibrate when done and then it’s logged when synced would be great! Thank you!

I am not intrested in your mindfull minutes sessions. I already use a much better dedicated app for that (WakeingUp), or sometimes I do not use any app at all. Adding the ability to add minfullminutes manually is very important. Im.finding I dont care about most of the preimum features, but would be more inclined if I could add mindfull minutes.

looks like Fitbit are never going to allow us to manual log our sessions, I’ve been on this thread a long time and lots of people are asking for this and it’s just being ignored, not feeling the mindfulness

Coming here to echo the sentiments that I'd LOVE to be able to manually enter meditation sessions that are outside of the FitBit app. I have plenty other meditations I love doing and would love to be able to track stats with it. Many thanks!

It would be very useful and should be simple enough to add this feature

I was surprised this feature wasn't available. There are so many different meditation apps, and everyone has their preference. I pay a subscription to my favorite app. Also, some people don't use an app at all and practice unguided meditation. This was requested two years ago. Are there any updates on this feature request?

We need the ability to manually log mindfulness/ meditation.

how is this not an option?!

thank you for changing this ASAP FITBIT

Yes! It seems like this would be an easy option to add and also high on
the features add list, especially considering how often people ask for
this and the number of threads on this topic. I'm guessing it is tied to
the desire to push people into a premium subscription, but that is just
speculation.

I’m paying premium still can’t log manually.

Think you’re right about subscription, getting to the point of frustration with it, think I need to go meditate 🤣

One of the other smart watch providers will end up doing it, and customers who this is important to will move from Fitbit

Similar to other users I can only support this product with improvements on this feature.

First try I fell asleep, logged everything, can't edit. For unguided meditation I have to mute an existing one, which would at least be okay.

Extremely unhappy with the current state overall, taking a close look on this thread or otherwise where I can sell my device.

+1 on allowing to manually input mindfulness sessions. I had all my apps automatically connected to Apple Health, but a manual option would be the second best thing.

Please allow us to add mindfulness (meditation/devotional) sessions on the fitbit app (like we can do with exercise). Thank you

I agree with this suggestion! I often use Insight Timer for meditation and am part of a meditation group. I would like to capture that data in my Fitbit app.

At the moment I am choosing one of the meditations that is the length I want, then playing my chosen meditation from a different app on a second device. It would be helpful to manually log instead.

Please allow manual tracking of mindfulness. I meditate daily. I never use guided meditations. Logging meditation as 'exercise' in the app isn't useful. I want a tile on the watch to track in the moment (similar to exercise, but mindful). My heartrate tends to drop below that of sleep when meditating, and my fitbit often records it as sleep.

I would like to be able to add my own mindfulness/meditation time like an exercise time that is not a guided or music session prepared for me.
