Always-On Display for Charge 3

I work as a soccer referee, and I'm disappointed with the ease of use with the stopwatch on the Charge 2.

Soccer referee use wrist-stopwatches to time the games.  Simply put, I need a stopwatch that is constantly visible/lit.  It cannot go dark, for two reasons.  First, we need to look at the time at a glance without the need to push a button, especially when we're in motion.  Second, in high school games, where the clock is started and stopped, we need to start/stop the clock without having the need to push the button twice.

I understand the need to save battery life, but I can always charge the battery later.  I need an immediate view of the time.  Is there a method to keep the stopwatch viewable, or is there another model where this is possible?  Thanks in advance.

Any function that needs to remain lit, please only do so as an additional button/feature (not a replacement). In my case, I need my Fitbit to stay dark, because a take a spinning class with the lights off. Lights on any kind of tracker disturb the ride of others in the class. Thnx

I was hoping to get the Charge 3 for my sister but decided I’d play with mine once I got it to be sure. She is a nurse and she wants something with a second hand (analog) or with a good stop watch for heart rates. I thought this watch is perfect, but the face won’t stay lit on the clock or the stop watch even long enough for her 6 second pulse check. The stop watch should definitely stay on at least for a minute or two (not 4 seconds), and the watch face itself should have timeout options for those of us who aren’t so quick or need the second hand like she does. If one of those doesn’t happen I can’t make her another customer of FitBit Charge 3 because it would have no functionality to her.

Please add this feature as it is required to time exercises without the need to tap on the watch again and again.

Thank you

Yet another feature, which there shouldn't even be a need to suggest. This should have been on the tracker from the beginning.

I just got my Charge 3, and I am honestly shocked at how much it lacks compared to much older devices like the garmin vivosmart HR.

I agree.  When using the stopwatch, the display must be kept lit.  This is pretty obvious.  Don't you have these features tested before release?

When are you adding this feature.... Seriously the stop watch is pretty useless without the functionality of staying on whilst in use.
