Able to text from Ace LTE to Ace LTE?

Both of my kids have Ace LTE watches. Are they able to talk and text each other from their watches?

Also, when I'm trying to add them to each other's contacts, I'm receiving an error stating "An invite cannot be sent to this email".

The instructions say that up to 20 contacts may be added.

I then went to Google support and see: 

Note: Your child cannot call or message friends and siblings with the Fitbit Ace LTE.

It looks like they can only message older family members.

Currently, it's not possible for Ace LTE users to call or text each other. They are only able to add each other as a friend for Bit Valley where their eejies can interact with each other. See this help article regarding friends for the Ace LTE (<-- click link)

There is a feature request in the Product Feedback forum to allow siblings to contact each other on their Ace LTE devices (<-- click link). Please consider adding your vote and comments. The developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.

I see that this thread is about 6 mo old at this point.  Users such as siblings can now message other users who have Ace LTE devices.  I don't know how recently that functionality might have been added.

I believe the ability for siblings to message each other was added in the last quarter of 2024.

It would be nice for friends with Ace LTE watches to chat with another with parental approval. My daughter's friend just received an Ace LTE for Christmas and they cannot communicate which is unfortunate.

Please submit this feature request using the Feedback option in the Ace app. Tap on your picture in the upper right of the app and select Feedback in the menu that opens. Complete the prompts and submit. Although you likely won't receive a reply, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.

You can also submit this feature request in the Fitbit Product Feedback forum (<-- click link). I understand the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.
