Can I get alerts when Ace LTE enters/exists an area?

Does anyone know how to set up notification settings for when the watch enters or leaves a family location? I don't see anything on the watch interface but in the family link app it looks like it should work but the locations seem stuck in "notifications off" mode. This seems like a standard feature in other similar watches so I'm curious if it's not possible or maybe just not up and running yet?

What I'm trying to do is set up notifications so that I get an alert on my
phone when the watch enters or exits a certain area (say a friends house,
or school, or camp). Right now I can get the watch to show up as in one of
those locations but I can't turn on notifications if it enters or leaves on
of those locations.

Hi @Azhorn7 - This feature doesn't currently exist in the current version of the Fitbit Ace App. I'm not sure how it works within family link, but you can always drop a feature request to the team using this forum right here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Product-Feedback/idb-p/features

I contacted google about this. Your child has to have their own google account (not just a profile) and that account needs to be logged in on a separate device, such as a tablet or phone. Once that's done, you will have the option to turn on location notifications in the family link app.
