I have a Fitbit Ace for a child. We have a child Google account through Google family link. I go through the process through the Fitbit Ace app and everything connects, the phone recognizes the watch, the Wi-Fi is recognized, but then I always get stuck at the very last step when trying to sign the child in. The watch simply states "continue on the phone," and the phone states: "Signing [ the child ] in...This could take a minute." Then it always gets stuck at this step, until it gives me a screen that says "Sign in failed....Error code:ERR_so28" I have done a factory reset on the watch and have restarted my phone numerous times and nothing fixes this. This is extremely irritating, especially since we had to pay for a subscription just to get try this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear this is happening! err_S028 usually points to a network connection issue. Is there another WiFi network that you could try or possibly set up a hotspot from your phone?
