Hello. Can a child who is under 13 message/call a friend who is also under 13? I was told this was possible but also read that it isn't. I invited my kid's friend (using his parent's email), and the parent accepted it. Nnw, the parent gets my boy's messages, not his friend with the watch.

Hello @Withanf1
A child with an Ace LTE device can't call or message a friend. Please see this help page (<-- click).
To clarify what you were told, the child can contact parents and siblings through their Ace LTE device. That's what was meant by needing the Family Link app. Messaging and calling only works with family members, not friends.

Thanks, ReikoC. I have an open ticket with Google about this now, and we have been going back and forth about this. They said, and I have the emails to prove it, that kids can call and send/receive messages to their friends. I showed them snippets of articles and posts saying the same at you, but they claim it can be done. I'm not doubting you. That may be the case. However, they need to tell me that.
