Fitbit Ace Lte This device doesn't support location notifications.

My son has had his Fitbit Ace LTE for over a year now. In the family link app I have arrival and departure notification set up for locations for him that work. He started a new school this year and tried to add it and now it's telling me that his device does not support it. When I go check the settings for location on his device this is what it says. "This device doesn't support location notifications."

Sorry to see you're having issues with location notification. Please let us know what troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. 

Although this help page (<-- click) on setting up the Ace LTE Location feature has some recommended troubleshooting, I didn't see the issue that you're experiencing. 

What page/information do you see when you click on Learn more?

It shows how to set it up and I've followed all those instructions. The
existing location notifications work but I can't add new ones.

I'm trying to reach out to the team about this issue to see if they have any recommended troubleshooting.

Update: I got a reply from a team member who confirmed that the Ace LTE doesn't support location notifications. Since it worked for over a year, whatever you needed from Location was working without this feature. 

 On Family Link, can you delete/edit the old school location and replace it with the new one? If not, then please contact Family Link support and ask them to help you with that part.
