We are running into a situation, one parent with Pixel (android) got the Fitbit ace, paid for the membership & sent an invite to the other parent who is on iOS. When the other parent tries to accept the parent invite, its forcing us to buy the membership again. This was NOT how it was explained when purchasing. Please help clarify.

A few questions:
1.) Has the other parent accepted the invite to Family Link?
2.) Assuming that they have accepted the invite, have they been granted parental permissions for the family's account? In case you need it, here are the instructions to add a parent.

Also, you shouldn't have to pay for another subscription.
A final question: has another invite been sent to the other parent after being granted permission in the family account/Family Link?

Hello @Soulcurry
The other parent does not have to pay for a subscription.
What might have happened is the other parent accepted the invite to join the family group. This is the first step. After that, they need to be assigned parent privileges in Family Link. Once that is done, send another invite from the Fitbit Ace app.
We're sorry for this being rather tricking. Please review the 'Add parents' flow in this (<-- click link) Help Center article. Then let us know where you're getting stuck.
