Kids trying to communicate with their Gramma in Brazil

We live in US and the kids are enjoying the watch.

But they wanted to communicate with their Gramma that lives in Brazil. I added her Google account, but when she follows the link the Brazilian app store says the app isn't available in Brazil.

How can I have them talking to their Gramma?

Hello @BigFreaky

Unfortunately, the Ace LTE is currently available only in the USA.

Although I expect that availability will expand to other countries, we haven't seen any confirmation or timelines for this to happen.

I know that, but what's the reason to block the App?

I understand if the LTE service for other countries isn't available, because the watch wouldn't work.

But it doesn't make sense for the app to be blocked.

Hello @BigFreaky

According to this Ace LTE help page (<-- click link), the Fitbit Ace device and app are currently only available in the USA. This is a decision that Fitbit Google made.

You can submit this as a feature request in the Product Feedback forum (<-- click link). I understand that the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.
