Did you mean:

Please fix "stuck in accessibility mode"

My daughter somehow got the watch stuck in accessibility mode where it audibly speaks whatever you're doing, and you can't touch any buttons. The manual does not say how to get it out of this mode. The only forum post I saw was this one:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-Ace-LTE/Accessibility-mode-is-stuck-ON-w-Ace-LTE/td-p/5652327

This is not a solution. My daughter lost everything she had on her watch and she's upset. Please give a valid way to exit this mode.

Hi there! This definitely doesn't require a reset, but you will need to navigate to the right menu using the accessibility mode (it does require a little learning curve!). Accessibility mode is obviously very important for folks who require it, but I hear you that it sounds like it was too easy to get into (and should be made easier for a parent to turn off!).

For now, here's how to exit Accessibility/Talkback mode:

1. Long-press the top button on the side of the device (to pull up the watch options menu) - it should read out "Watch options - power off"
2. Use two fingers (at the same time**) to scroll to the bottom of the menu
3. When you see "Settings" on the menu, tap it once (until there's a green square around it), then double-tap it to open it
4. Use two fingers to scroll the menu until you see Accessibility
5. Tap once to get a green square around Accessibility, then double-tap to open it
6. Tap "Talkback" to get a green square around it, then double-tap to open it
7. Tap the box with the switch (it should read out: "Talkback - on switch"), then double-tap to turn it off

** this two-finger scroll can take a little getting used to. The closest thing I can think of to describe is as if you're pushing a poker chip onto a table with two fingers.

Agree that resetting is definitely not an ideal solution! If you did already do the reset, your daughter's game progress should be restored within a few minutes. Game progress typically backs up every night (when it's on charge and on wifi) and should restore within a few minutes after being set up again with the same account.

Hope that helps! (and sorry for not replying sooner)
