School Mode messaging

Is there a way to make it when the watch is in school mode the texting feature is also disabled? I don't want there to be any distractions during school where my child might get in trouble for having their watch on them. I would like to be able to send my child to school with their watch and know they won't be texting contacts during class because they are distracted.

I don't think there's a way to limit the messaging for school hours, however, you can always send a Feature Request or send feedback directly through the Ace app.

When you create your feature request, you might want to think about having calls & texts from only parents during school time, much like we can setup certain contacts to interrupt Do Not Disturb or Bedtime mode. I would think that parents would call or text during school time only if it was important or an emergency.

I know the team is working on the feature request to allow siblings to contact each other from their Ace LTE devices. I think adding siblings to the exception list would be a good idea, too.
