Watch turns off during game

my son is playing the gnome heisters game, and as soon as it starts and he shakes his wrist it turns off. he has to do this several times before the game finally says he's done.

the watch stays on but the screen turns black. we have to push the white button and unlock it to get it back on

Thanks for that! What is the current software version on the watch? If you swipe right from the watch home screen, you'll get to Daily Quests where you will see "You're playing Season ..."

It happens to me too when the Ace LTE gets stressed tracking activity and notifications at the same time.
