Add Celsius option to Versa weather app

The weather app works as expected but has a major flaw for most of the world (except the US). Can an option be added for Celsius alongside Fahrenheit please. AccuWeather provides the data!

I found the setting now under the weather app itself.  Thanks.

So my versa was stuck in C and I just found if you go into the apps setting in the fitbit where you can see what apps are on your phone there is a little settings button next to the weather one where it allowed me to select Celsius or Fahrenheit and I was able to switch mine back from C toF

Best Answer

I don't have this option. I also read in another topic that the option is available for Charge 3.

Was this option maybe added with the newest firmware that current didn't hit my device?

Best Answer

I don’t have this on my Versa 🙁

Best Answer

I had to go through the fitbit app on my phone and go to the versa apps through there to change it

Best Answer

I understand what you did, still the option is not available on my system.

Best Answer

My versa shows miles and celcius .

Thanks for jumping in here @pbug56 and @Ktg1! I'm glad to hear that you both were able manage your Weather settings. Robot wink

Hi there @Giampi71 and @AngelButtonRobot Happy When updating to OS 2.2, you guys will now have a new temperature Units section in the weather app settings and it defaults to Celsius.

To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
  2. Tap or click Apps.
  3. Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to scroll down to find the app.
  4. In the Temperature Unit section, tap Units and choose the unit you want to use.
  5. Sync your watch and then open the Weather app on your watch to see the updated units.

Hope this helps, I'll be around if you need further assistance!

Good this problem was fixed, though I'd love to know how I had Farenheit and blinked, and then it was Celcius!  Regardless, it's fine now.

@Littlekel90 Check on you smarthphone Fitbit app under apps section. Next to the weather app you will see a little gear. Click it and you should find the appropriate setting.

@MarreFitbit

Nope. My Weather app doesn't have the option. I think this comes only after the firmware update but it's almost a month since the roll-out began and it didn't hit yet my device.

No, the app does not have that option on my Fitbit. I also have not had any firmware update.

Thanks for getting back guys @Giampi71 and @AngelButtonVersa/Ionic users still need to change their units to miles >Fahrenheit and kilometers>celsius for now. Since 2.2 is still only at 10%.

FITBIT OS 2.1 OR EARLIER

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > Advanced Settings > Units.
  2. In the Length section, select a different measurement. Centimeters, Kilometers corresponds with Celsius and Feet, Miles corresponds with Fahrenheit.
  3. Sync your watch and then open the Weather app on your watch to see the updated units.

FITBIT OS 2.2

Let me know if you have any questions.
