Apple Calendar using iOS 13.6

The Agenda app is notifying me of events that have been deleted from my default calendar and also events from calendars that are disabled.

Why is this happening and can it be prevented?

This happens with my Android, too. It also shows events from co-worker calendars, even though I have deselected all of them on my phone.
