Aviation apps needed for Fitbit Sense

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I dont see a single aviation - Pilot app or Watchface for the Sense. Looking for a good watch face / app with local time, Zulu time, Metar, TAF, Wind and ideally Hourly steps. I got the Fitbit for good sleep tracking but VERY disappointed at the lack of any Aviation METAR-TAF apps or watch faces. I did see ONE METAR app but it doesn't work on the sense. Might have to switch back to Garmin as there's a serious lack of useful apps.

Surely there must be Pilots using Fitbit?

@pilotca I used to use Metar app and it worked quite well. There's also a clockface, but you are right they still need to get updated to support Sense. The best one can do is to reach out to devs asking for an update. Because we cannot access the app/clockface homepages with the dev contact info (we can't see these app/clockfaces in the fitbit app store), the best course of action would be to request for an update on Fitbit App Gallery forum. You can also ask for the new development there. Perhaps one of the handy devs will pick up your project. 🙂

I've used Alex Ogrev's METAR Clock (linked in other reply) on my Versa for 3 years and love it.  Unfortunately it's not compatible with my new Sense 2 and I'm scratching my head like you!  Did you find/develop anything useful?

Any other PIREPs available?

Looking for the same. I just upgraded to versa 4 and no joy. Also, the METAR clock face from AlexO just stopped working on my husband's versa 😑
