Bitmoji clock face stuck on preparing to teleport

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Downloaded the Bitmoji watch face and connected it to SnapChat but it won't teleport.  I've kept the watch close and followed the necessary steps.  I disconnected and reconnected the app, restarted my watch, disconnected and reconnected Bitmoji to SnapChat, disconnected and reconnected bluetooth and no success.  I've revoked the watchface until I can get a result on how to solve this issue.  The excitement has officially wore off lol.

Thank you. (Fitbit Sense).

Thank you for that I am just so frustrated I love this clock face it is the best one.  I got the versa 3 so I could keep this clock face so I am very sad that Fitbit blame it on a 3rd party when it is a Fitbit clock face as it is under the Fitbit section.  I hope it gets fixed soon.

I've been trying to connect my fitbit versa two with my bitmoji. I've done everything multiple times. I've contacted fitbit multiple times and no one can do anything for it. My app is up to date. My hone is up to date. My versa is up to date. This is the second day that I have been trying it and it is still not working. I don't understand what I am doing wrong.

Hello @lesbaingurl and welcome to the Community.  There is a known issue with the Bitmoji clock face getting stuck on teleporting.  Fitbit is aware.  I am merging your post with that thread, as this is the best way to keep you updated.

It somehow teleported this morning. I tried before all the different
options to not avail. But someone had mentioned before that it had to do
with the internet connection...that it does not work in 5G, has to be 4G or
lower. I am currently abroad and the speed of internet is lower...and I did
the steps and it teleported with no issue. Hope this helps.

Well I’m glad it worked for you… But I have no idea how to turn down the speed of my Internet… And I’m not about to screw up my Internet just so that I can get the Bitmoji clock face… I think that Fitbit needs to work this out and send out an email to all of us instea instead of just dropping the ball and doing nothing ….

My Bitmoji will not sync to my Versa 2. I’ve unlinked, logged out, power cycled…nothing works. It just stays in the loading symbol on the watch face. Any help?

@navywife1220   There is a known, ongoing issue with the Bitmoji clock face.  Fitbit is aware.  It's been a problem for a little while, so I don't know when it will be fixed.

Check out my post on page 11.  Your Fitbit, your Ring Cameras, your printers, and all other low tech devices use the 2.4 GHZ WiFi signal. They cannot use the 5 GHZ signal that your phone uses.  You need to connect your phone and Fitbit to your 2.4 GHZ WiFi signal. You cannot teleport over the 5GHZ signal.  It has to be over 2.4 because your Fitbit, Ring cameras, and similar devices are dumb smart devices.  Attached is a picture of my home network so you can understand what I'm saying. I was able to teleport a Sense and Versa 3 on Samsung S22 Ultras for my wife and I.  You might have to separate your signals because a lot of the time your WiFi router doesn't.  If you have ring cameras they are connected to a 2.4 GHZ signal so connect your phone and Fitbit to that network.  If you're not tech savvy call your internet provider and ask for tech support.

unfortunately even with stopping the 5ghz wifi on the router it's still stuck preparing to teleport after unistall / reinstallation of the bitmoji clock face

I should have trusted my gut & not updated my Bitmoji’s outfit & just left it alone.
