Can not allow acces for food and water logs for Ionic App

Hello all,

I have the following problem: I would like to log my drinks during the day with my Ionic. All the apps I tried (Water Logged, Hydrate, Ionic Water) need permission to "food and water logs" what is obvious, but when I accept that, I only get a Blank white page and nothing happens. I tried to Accept it on my PC with the Fitbit App, but I do not have the Settings button for the Apps, only on my Phone.

I am using Lumia 950 with Windows 10 Mobile version 10.0.15254.313 (1709) and Fitbit App version: 2.31.1488 (54139)

Does anybody have any solution for that?

@vasililaszlo Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for posting the situation you are experiencing with all of those water logging apps.

By any chance, are you experiencing any trouble with other apps? I was checking the list of supported devices and the Lumia 950 is there.

Something you could try is removing the apps and re installing them.

If you keep experiencing the same, I recommend contacting the developers of these apps to check if they have any advice regarding this situation. To contact the developer please open their app on the Fitbit App Gallery, scroll/swipe down and under "App Details" you will find the information.

Hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

@SantiRThank you for your answer.

As you see in the attached picture, the Lumia 950 is in the list, just in the bottom.

The link for removing and reinstalling apps is broken, but That was the first thing I tried, did not work.

It is interesting, that I cant set up this thing with the Windows 10 app on PC.

I will try to ask the developers as you suggests, hope they experienced the same and have any solution for that problem.

@vasililaszlo Thanks for your answer and for providing that useful information.

It is very strange to see that the apps are going blank whenever you open them. By any chance, do you have a different mobile device you could try this on? Android or iOS?

Just want to check if the same appears when using those OS. Perhaps, another user using these OS can share their experience with these apps? Keen to hear!

Please let me know if the developers reply with some useful information!

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

I am getting the same thing in multiple apps:
- Water Logged
- Ionic Water

- My Agenda

They all timeout when trying to login, even though the fitbit apps says that is already logged in.... It looks like a fitbit problem to me, as the same thing happens on apps from multiple developers. The screen on the phone goes blank & just sits there doing nothing, with the words 'Apps Galery' at the top. None of the apps can login so they don't work. Everything else is good & the watch synchs well, I get notifications etc...

I have an Ionic with a Nokia 950XL phone running windows 10.

@UK-Dave Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting this situation with some apps on Ionic.

This is strange! Thanks for your reports. Have you tried contacting the developers of those apps? You can contact the developer directly. Open their app in the Fitbit App Gallery and you’ll find their contact details under ‘app details’.

Also, make sure you are using at least Windows 10 10586.218 OS.

You could also check if there are any updates available for those apps.

Keen to hear if there are any users experiencing this?

Keep me posted!
