Hi @marimocha - you can run Spotify on the phone and control it with music controls on the watch, but if you want to use the Spotify app on the watch you will need premium Spotify, which makes no sense, especially as it doesn't do much more than music controls, and some times less.
You can't load MP3 files to the watch.
The advantage to not using Spotify controls and using music controls instead is the current clock or app still runs.
So the solution is to use your phone and at best use music controls on the watch. If you assign music controls to one of the double button press short cut keys it's easy to get to.

Not fitbit's fault, sort off. Fitbit should offer a way for the user to load music from the phone.
You do not need premium fitbit to listen to music on the tracker.
You do need a payed subscription for offline storage of Pandora or Deezer, but this is not a fault of fitbit.
This is what Pandora and Deezer has control off.
Pandora has a couple of subscription levels.
I'm moving this to the apps board, since it is not hardware related.
