Still not working absolutely useless just keeps going in an infinite loop between login and opening in browser, shame really could be a great app for the Fitbit having no need to get your phone out to order a taxi.

Any update on this? It’s bee 3 weeks since you posted it. I’ve jut purchased  a brand new verve and I’ve had so much trouble trying to get Uber to work. When I try to log into the Uber app on my fit bit app it forwards me to https://app-settings.fitbitdevelopercontent.com/simple-redirect.html?error=invalid_scope&state=%7B%2...            It then asks me to “open this page in Fitbit and the whole thing starts again. I’m unable to log in and therefore the app is uselessness on my verve. It seems like quite a few people are having the same issue. Please address

Was unable to get the Uber app linked to my account.  Just tried reinstalling the Uber app and now it wont even open. Pretty poor.

Edit: now got it to open but still cant link my account. Tried it from an iPhone 7 and iPhone XR. Same. Running version 1.0.10 of the app.

Thank you for the update. Is there an ETA on the fix?

Also, this is my first time using the forum and leaving a comment. Would you reply to my message in order to notify me once the fix has been released? Thank you in advance.

Lots of people have left details but here they are again. When attempting to log in we are diverted to this webpage https://app-settings.fitbitdevelopercontent.com/simple-redirect.html?error=invalid_scope&state=%7B%2... Which doesn’t allow of to log in. Instead it says “open this page in Fitbit?” If you select “open” you are then reverted back to the Fitbit/Uber page to restart this all over again with no success of actually logging in.

How is it that it takes over a month for Fitbit to deploy a fix for a bug in their own app that’s just to complete a login loop issue? Seems like this should be a fairly low effort bug to fix and should be prioritized as it’s blocking functionality of an app that’s still FEATURED on the Fitbit App market!

Worse still is the fact this this app was released with such a major bug. How was it not caught by QA/QV? Pretty disappointing.

Just bought an Ionic on prime day. Uber broken, Nest broken, these advertised features are useless. Returning it tomorrow.
