Fitbit ionic Clock EV Smartface Clock Error

I have EV Smartface clock face installed. Recently I came across the problem

 

"Clock Error Go to the Fitbit mobile app and try another clock"

 

After searching for solutions one recommendation was to go and install another clock face and then install EV Smartface again. I did this and it worked and I chose the developers vNext version for this

 

Today the clock face received an update which I installed but after this updated, I got the same error again. Clock Error. So I tried the solution again, install a different face then EV again.. Now this time new install of EV gets the Clock Error still so I can't get this watch face to work. Tried installing using the developers vNext link and without doing this and both didn't work.

 

I guess the latest update is broken and I can't find a link to the developers site. So I hope a solution gets posted here or a post mode and when the problem is fixed and I can go and install the watch face again. For now, I guess I need to install a different watch face.. Not very happy but oh well

All apps and clock faces in the Fitbit App Gallery are free to download. However, some apps and clock faces require a paid subscription service (such as Pandora and Deezer) or a one-time activation fee (to a developer). If a developer requires an activation fee, you may see a message in the app or clock face description:

For these apps and clock faces, the developer will process and provide instructions for payment. Many developers use the third party service KiezelPay to accept payment for their app or clock face. For more information, see KiezelPay’s FAQ.

 

This clock face requires payment in order to work. See my image below:
